"If it were for me, I would already be here” - Kylian Mbappe told Real Madrid official

KYLIAN MBAPPE declared that if it was up to him, he would have joined Real Madrid according to reports in Spain.

The 20-year-old has become one of football’s most prized gems since bursting onto the scene with AS Monaco.
It was Paris Saint-Germain who beat Real Madrid in the race for his signing back in 2017.
He initially joined on loan for a season before joining for a fee of £166million.
During his time at Monaco back in 2013, the forward and his family visited the Santiago Bernabeu and Valdebebas in Madrid.
He even met Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and Carlo Ancelotti who was the manager at the time.
The idea behind the visit was to get a feel for Madrid and to see whether it was a place Mbappe could move to, to develop his career.
There had been an offer from the La Liga giants who were trying to persuade him to join them but Mbappe’s family wanted him to continue living in Paris in his parents’ home.

Now according to AS, upon visiting the Bernabeu last year with PSG in the Round of 16 Champions League match, Mbappe made a declaration to Real Madrid.
The report states that in the locker room area after the game, the World Cup winner bumped into Isidro Diaz.
Diaz played for Real Madrid in the last 1970s but now works for the club as an advisor in their youth academy.
And Mbappe reportedly recognised him from his previous visit, where Diaz had spoke to him and his family.
